The inspections were undertaken between 31 December 2014 and 12 January 2015, covered six permanent research stations, six summer-only research stations, one non-governmental facility, one refuge, six cruise ships and five yachts.

Stations inspected: Troll (Norway), Halley VI (United Kingdom), Princess Elisabeth (Belgium) and Maitri (India).

The inspections, undertaken between 1 and 14 December 2012, covered 12 permanent bases, 3 unoccupied bases, 3 historic sites, 4 cruise ships, 1 yacht and 1 wreck site.

Stations inspected: Maitri (India), Zhongshan (China), Bharati (India), Syowa (Japan), Princess Elisabeth (Belgium) and Troll (Norway).

Stations and installations inspected: Maitri (India), Novolazarevskaya (Russia), Georg Forster and Epica Drill Site (Germany), Sanae IV (South Africa) and Troll (Norway).

This report was submitted by France and Belgium to XXIII ATCM as IP42, informing the Meeting about the inspection carried out.
